0515: Red

0515: Red | Mixed-Media Original Painting Red is rarely a quiet color — and in 0515: Red, it has nothing quiet left to say. This vibrant, kinetic mixed-media painting pulses with an energy that is immediate and unrelenting. The sequence 0515 scatters across the canvas in varying colors, scales, and orientations — appearing and reappearing like an insistent thought, a rhythm that refuses to resolve itself into silence. Each instance is slightly different, slightly shifted, building a composition that feels both spontaneous and deeply intentional. Dark tones and metallic hues form the backbone of the background — moody, layered, and rich with texture. Against them, bold red accents ignite the surface, drawing the eye across the canvas in quick, electric movements. Vertical drips of red fall through the composition unhurried, lending the piece an expressive, almost performative quality — paint as gesture, as emotion, as evidence of a moment fully inhabited. Copper leaf introduces warmth and dimension, flickering with light in contrast to the darker passages surrounding it. Wooden numbers press forward from the surface, tactile and grounded, adding a physical presence that pulls the painting out of pure abstraction and into something you feel compelled to reach for. 0515: Red is charged, layered, and unmistakably alive — a painting that holds its intensity whether viewed up close or from across the room. For collectors who want work that commands presence and brings genuine creative energy into any space.
