0515: Deception

Erupting from a dark, suffocating expanse of matte black, 0515: Deception delivers a raw, haunting confrontation with heartbreak and betrayal. At the top, cold, rigid metal numbers 0515 cling to the surface—anchoring the canvas to a specific, unalterable moment in time that refuses to be forgotten. Directly below, the word LIES emerges like a jagged, unhealed scar, heavily sculpted in dense acrylic paste to convey the agonizing weight of deceit. From this ragged wound, a stark emotional tragedy unfolds: vibrant streams of blood-red and icy white paint bleed violently downward. As these tear-like drips trail into the void, their intersecting paths painfully construct the word LOVE. The result is a deeply poetic, unsettling tension—a stark physical manifestation of a bond fractured from within, forcing the viewer to confront how easily passion can morph into pain, leaving love forever bound to the lies that destroyed it.
