04701 BEAMGUARD HLL STANCHION - 24” Flange Size

The anchor post component of a cable horizontal lifeline system for use on I-beams The Beamguard HLL Stanchion is a component of a complete HLL system specifically intended for installation onto steel I-beams. It can be used in combination with any standard Guardian HLL system, and functions to elevate the system up off the beam to help reduce clearance requirements and prevent system impact with sharp edges and surfaces. The Beamguard Stanchion can also function as a standalone anchor point. **CS CUSTOMER FLANGE REQUIRMENTS ** Intermediate Beamguard - Standard Base - 24" Rod and intermediate flange hook.  Fits a flange thickness up to 2 1/8" and width of 4"-19 3/4" FEATURES Manufactured from powder-coated steel to help resist abrasion/impact from tools or materials, as well as withstand prolonged exposure to wind and rain Compatible with any Guardian HLL system for ultimate component flexibility Accommodates HLL installation both in parallel and perpendicular to the I-beam Clamps down to I-beam with no penetrations required   Is there a maximum permitted span length for Beamguard HLL Systems? It is recommended to never exceed system lengths of 300' regardless of the HLL used with the Beamguard, however always defer to HLL system requirements, which in many cases limit maximum span length to shorter distances. From The ESS Team Construction sites demand fall protection solutions that are both effective and adaptable. The BeamGuard HLL Stanchion (Single Unit) offers a user-friendly and versatile solution for creating a safe and organized horizontal lifeline system (HLL) on a variety of I-beams. This innovative stanchion elevates the HLL system, minimizing trip hazards and maximizing worker safety.     Why Choose the BeamGuard HLL Stanchion (Single Unit)? Enhanced Safety with Elevated Lifelines: This stanchion raises the HLL system up to 24 inches off the I-beam flange, providing ample clearance for workers and materials below. This reduces the risk of tripping or snagging on the lifeline, improving overall jobsite safety. Adaptable to Various I-Beam Sizes: The BeamGuard HLL Stanchion boasts a 24-inch flange size, making it ideal for use with a wide range of I-beams commonly found on construction sites. With its adjustable threaded rods and flange hook, you can achieve a secure and stable connection regardless of minor variations in I-beam width. Flexible Integration: This single unit provides a starting point for your HLL system. You can connect multiple stanchions together to create a continuous lifeline across a larger work area, or utilize it independently as a secure tie-off point for a single worker. FME Champion: Dropped objects pose a serious safety hazard on construction sites. By elevating the HLL system, the BeamGuard stanchion helps prevent Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) incidents. Workers can easily attach tools and materials to the lifeline using lanyards, eliminating the need to leave them precariously balanced or near edges, minimizing the risk of falls and disruptions.     Cost-Effective Safety Solution: This versatile stanchion offers exceptional value. It eliminates the need for complex fall protection systems or additional anchor points, simplifying setup and saving you money on equipment. Who Needs the BeamGuard HLL Stanchion (Single Unit)? The BeamGuard HLL Stanchion (Single Unit) is ideal for construction professionals getting started with an elevated lifeline system or requiring occasional anchor points, including: Ironworkers and steel erectors: Secure a single tie-off point for fall protection while working on beams, columns, and other structural elements.   Construction crews (smaller projects): Create a focused HLL system using multiple stanchions in designated work zones. Maintenance workers: Utilize the stanchion as a temporary anchor point for fall protection during specific tasks on elevated platforms.
