031476 Head Inboard and Bushing Assembly

The 031476 Head Inboard and Bushing Assembly by Blackmer is a replacement component designed for use in positive displacement and sliding vane pumps. This assembly is constructed to ensure proper alignment, sealing, and durability, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of pump systems. Materials used in the 031476 Head Inboard and Bushing Assembly include high-grade bronze or similar corrosion-resistant metals for the bushing, combined with precision-machined steel or alloy components to ensure accurate fit and long-term performance. The assembly features a hardened bushing with a diameter of approximately 2.5 inches (63.5 mm) and a length of about 3 inches (76.2 mm), compatible with specific pump models requiring this size. Overall, the assembly weighs roughly 1.2 kilograms (2.65 pounds).  Key features of the 031476 Head Inboard and Bushing Assembly include a wear-resistant bushing, tight manufacturing tolerances to maintain sealing integrity, and compatibility with Blackmer pump models that require this part. It is designed to withstand high-pressure operation, typically up to 150 psi (10.34 bar), and continuous duty use in industrial environments. This assembly is ideal for maintenance, repair, or retrofit projects involving Blackmer positive displacement pumps, particularly in applications requiring reliable sealing and efficient operation, such as chemical processing, water treatment, and industrial fluid handling. It is suitable for end-users, maintenance technicians, and engineers seeking a durable, OEM-approved component to prevent pump failure and downtime. Included in the box is the 031476 Head Inboard and Bushing Assembly. Not included are additional pump components or tools required for installation. The assembly may require specific gaskets or seals depending on the pump model, which are sold separately. For care, the 031476 Head Inboard and Bushing Assembly should be installed according to manufacturer specifications, with regular inspection for signs of wear or corrosion. Clean with appropriate solvents and lubricate as recommended in the product manual. The assembly generally includes a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects when used within specified operational limits.
