3/8" x 3/4" SB-3 Cylindrical, End Cut Carbide Burr, Aluminum Cut

Aluminum cut burrs have widely spaced, single-direction flutes with a lot of chip clearance, and that geometry is the whole difference. Soft metals smear and weld themselves into a standard burr until it stops cutting and starts rubbing; an open flute throws the chip clear and keeps cutting. Use these on aluminum, brass, copper, magnesium, zinc and carbon fibre. They will cut steel, but a double cut burr will do it better and last longer, so keep the two apart rather than treating one as a general-purpose tool. This is the SB-3: a 3/8" cylindrical, end cut head with a 3/4" length of cut on a 1/4" shank. Interior contour work.
