The Guardian External Shock Lanyard (4 ft.) with Steel Snap Hook offers a user-friendly and cost-effective solution for fall arrest applications in confined spaces or situations where a shorter length is preferred.     Why Choose the Guardian External Shock Lanyard (4 ft.) with Steel Snap Hook? Reduced Fall Impact Forces: This innovative lanyard features an external shock pack specifically designed to absorb impact energy in the event of a fall. This reduces the peak arresting force on your body to 900 pounds or less, minimizing the risk of serious injury.     Secure Snap Hook Connection: This lanyard boasts a single, galvanized steel snap hook for user-friendly attachment to designated fall protection anchor points. It easily connects to D-rings on harnesses, beams, and other suitable structures commonly found on construction sites.     Optimal Maneuverability: The 4-foot length is ideal for situations where a standard 6-foot lanyard might hinder movement. This is particularly beneficial when working in tight spaces, on ladders, or on complex roof structures. FME Prevention Champion: Dropped objects pose a serious safety hazard on construction sites. This lanyard minimizes this risk by providing a dedicated attachment point for your fall protection system. You can secure tools to the lanyard, eliminating the need to reach over edges to retrieve them, reducing the risk of dropped objects becoming Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) hazards and disruptions to workflow.     Compliance and Value: This external shock absorbing lanyard meets all ANSI Z359.13-2013 regulations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. The single snap hook design offers a budget-friendly option for fall protection needs in diverse environments, particularly when a shorter lanyard and a user-friendly connection point are preferred.     Who Needs the Guardian External Shock Lanyard (4 ft.) with Steel Snap Hook? This versatile lanyard is ideal for construction professionals who require fall protection with optimal maneuverability in confined spaces, including: Ironworkers (working in tight spaces): Secure yourself with confidence while working on intricate steel structures where a shorter lanyard is preferred. Construction workers (on specific projects with limited space): Benefit from the user-friendly snap hook connection, the peace of mind offered by the external shock absorber, and the value-driven design for fall arrest in confined areas. Roofers (working on complex roof sections with limited space): Utilize the 4-foot length for maneuverability while maintaining a secure connection to designated anchor points, with the added safety benefit of the shock absorber.
