Feel confident in your styling decisions with our ʻAkahi Area Rug's versatile and adaptable design. ʻAkahi was inspired by the Hawaiian barkcloth tradition of handmade kapa which is adorned with patterns created by ʻohe kāpala (bamboo stamps). The initial markings of this foundational print were graphically reinterpreted to evoke the essence of traditional kapa designs. Its name speaks to the primal connection between first nations' cultures and the design aesthetics they share.
